The Angular Woman’s Clothes Options

Written on August 13, 2008 – 2:31 am | by dodo

Now let’s consider a woman who has a straight, angular body. She wants to change her look, and goes shopping for a dress to go under some of her jackets. Now, no matter how much she has spent on the dress, it will look inexpensive and unsuccessful on her because such a soft fabric does not compliment her straight body. She would look much more interesting in a tightly woven material, such as a silk-linen blend or fine wool crepe. Also, identifying a waistline which, in essence, she doesn’t have doesn’t do her figure justice. A better choice would be a chemise style or a coat- dress, with no waist emphasis. Tips for Dressing for Television

Written on August 5, 2008 – 12:49 pm | by dodo

The prospect of appearing on television can be very daunting. The newsreaders with whom we are so familiar make it look very easy when in reality it is not. If we watch news interviews or panel discussions with amateurs (much like ourselves), we know how badly people can come across and how their appearance can let them down. It’s very difficult to listen to someone who is wearing bright lipstick, a loud scarf, a flashy necklace, or whose hair is too fussy. All we do is watch the lips, the clothes, or the hair and are too distracted to actually listen to what is being said. Read the rest of this entry »
